The Maff tube is the tube that runs between the engines throttle body and the air box on the car. The factory unit is manufactured to a cost and as such suffers from performance loss due to the restrictive baffling and tube design. An APC Maff tube is of a larger diameter than the factory unit and is designed as a precision fit item that does away with the concertina section found in both the Ford and the Holden tubes.
By increasing the diameter and smoothing the flow path we can provide an instant bolt on 5 – 7kw gain and for those chasing ET 1/10 over the standing quarter reduction in time.
