The Maff tube is the tube that runs between the engines throttle body and the air box on the car. The factory unit is manufactured to a cost and as such suffers from performance loss due to the restrictive baffling and tube design. An APC Maff tube is of a larger diameter than the factory unit and is designed as a precision fit item that does away with the concertina section found in both the Ford and the Holden tubes.
