Tuning and engine management is the cornerstone of the APC philosophy, backed up by our own in-house Twin Retarder Chassis Dyno.

There are plenty of stories out there, a lot of myths and a swag more of chaff that is hard to cut through. Whether you are contemplating the whole enhancement package or just a tune, we have the experience and the tools to extract the optimum tune from your car. An APC technician will guide you through the correct steps in applying a tune and where this should be done in the enhancement cycle.

From the SCT Ford tuner to EFI Live software for GMH, we can ensure that you will achieve the maximum power, torque and fuel savings.

Typically we can achieve between 20-60kW increase in power and 10-15% improvement in torque. We recommend that you carefully consider who you get to tune your car and what support they offer. There are plenty of tuners working out of the back of a ute or a garden shed - you can even buy a "tune" over the internet. APC offers full in-house support and backup.

Re-tunes are also available for cars that have been previously tuned and do not offer the right drivability. If your ECU has been locked by a previous tune house, we can service exchange the ECU for VT to VZ vehicles or have VE ECU's unlocked on a 3 day turn around.
