Many customers ask us, "can we knock out the Cats". The simple answer is no, apart from it being illegal, modern vehicles operate at their optimum with the Cats in place.

Aftermarket High flow Cats offer superior performance over the standard factory units by allowing the passage of exhaust gases through the Cat with minimal velocity loss and reduced back pressure, whilst retaining emissions compliance. A side advantage of high flow metal cats is significantly improved exhaust note. Factory VE cats significantly suppress the great note available from the Gen4 engines.

APC can also advise you IM240 testing requirements and the current moratorium that is in place. That means you do not have to have your vehicle IM240 tested currently.
